Android P
comes with new UI, some cool features and with improved software
performance. Unlike Oreo, Android P introduces us to many great
features. We will highlight them in this article.
Google launched the developer preview of Android P and before walk-on features of Android P, lookout which device supports it.
The
developer preview of Android P is available for download to Pixel phones
only, whether they are first generation handsets or Pixel 2 models.
Yeah, you heard the right thing, it’s not available for you or Nexus 5x and 6P owners.
But, this beta software also unstable so we recommend that you shouldn’t try it in your primary smartphone. Because it has lots of bugs, but it could be worth trying on that old first generation Pixel smartphone.
Also, there are some methods to get Android P on other Android smartphones.

Notch Friendly UI:
The most
controversial thing in iPhone X was its notch. Now many androids come
with a notch also Android P supports notch that might cut into the top
display area, after four different apps notification icons a simple dot
appears to let you know to slide down for some more waiting
notifications.
The clock has moved to far left side from far right side of Android's top status bar.
You can also adjust notch through settings.
New UI:
Now, quick
setting icons are more rounded and with a new color. There are new
animations added in Android P. You can easily switch apps with new
animation. It is side to side animation like as in iPhones. Android P
has a new type of animation for quick setting bar.
The icons in the setting are now colorful instead of previous android’s black and white combination.
In Android P setting is exact replica of the flux white substrate or theme.
New Lockdown Feature:
In previous
Androids, anyone can unlock your device to touch your finger using
fingerprint. But in Android P you can lock your smartphone so while you
are sleeping or doing anything that time other person don’t unlock your
device through your fingerprint.
Changes in Notification Panel:
In Android P
notification panel can show images and allow you to instant reply and
also you can save it as draft. If you extend notification it gives you
notification option like stop notification etc.
Screenshot Editor:
The missing
feature in all previous Android versions is the screenshot editor. Now,
Android P bear the screenshot feature. You can crop, rotate and also
add doodle in your screenshot. It’s similar to IOS.
You can find it in power menu, appears from the side of the screen which is quite handy.
Battery Saver:
In Android P, a new battery saver feature introduced. You can turn on it at any point.
There is one mode for Do not disturb.
Multi-Camera Support:
In dual
camera phones, you can access the camera free from both the lenses at
the same time and also you can take stereoscopic shot.
Other Developer Options:
In Android P
apps in the background will no longer be able to access your camera,
mic or any other sensors of your phone which is a great thing for
privacy.
Also
improved in Android runtime for better app performance with lower
resource usage, apps can now use Wi-Fi, RTT to calculate a user’s in no
position.
In
developer option, you can also increase the number of connected device
via Bluetooth so you can easily switch between your speaker and wireless
headphone or any other wireless device.
